We're Joe and Sebastian, two cousins from Philly. For years we did what you're supposed to do. Got the corporate jobs, sat in traffic, sat in meetings, and counted down to Friday. It paid the bills. It just never felt like ours.
We talked about starting something of our own for a long time. Eventually we got tired of hearing ourselves say it, so in 2026 we made it official and started Philly Junky.
Why junk? Because everybody in this city has that one spot. The basement nobody goes into. The shed you can't open the door on. The hot tub that quit a few summers back. Getting rid of it is a pain, and finding someone who'll show up, give you a straight price, and do the work shouldn't be this hard.
We're still working our day jobs while we build this, so we don't take a single job for granted. Every basement we clear gets us a step closer to doing this full time, and every one of those jobs is for somebody in our city. That's the part that matters to us. We wanted to build something that actually helps the people around us.
When you call, you get one of us. When we show up, we do the lifting. When we leave, the space is yours again.

We recycle scrap metal whenever we can, and everything else goes to a licensed transfer station for proper disposal.
